GonggamStudio ("we", "our", or "us") operates "UWO Helper" ("App"), an information helper app for Uncharted Waters Origin.
This privacy policy describes what information the App collects and how it is used and shared.
The App has no sign-up or login features.

We may collect the following data:

Device identifiers such as the advertising ID, approximate location (based on IP), app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics – collected through Google AdMob when serving ads

Community posts, comments, attached photos and nickname – only when you choose to write them (optional)

Error reports and nickname – only when you choose to submit a report (optional)

Search terms entered in the App (trade goods, ports, ships, etc.) – sent to our server to return search results

IP address – to prevent duplicate community likes and abuse

Why We Collect This Data
We use this data to:

Serve ads and measure ad performance via Google AdMob

Analyze app usage and fix errors

Operate the community board (posts, comments, photos)

Correct game information based on user reports

Return search results for game information such as trade goods, ports and ships

Prevent abuse and keep the service secure

Data Sharing
We do not share your data with any third parties except:

Google AdMob (ads and ad personalization) – device identifiers such as the advertising ID, approximate location, app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics

Google Play (ad removal purchase) – payments are processed directly by Google Play; we do not receive your card or other payment details

Data Retention
Collected data is retained as follows:

Community posts, comments, photos and error reports: kept while the service is operated, and deleted upon request

Ad-related data: handled under the Google AdMob privacy policy

App settings such as alarms, favorites and shop lists: stored only on your device and never sent to our server

User Rights
You have the right to:

View and request deletion of posts, comments, photos and reports you submitted

Reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads)

Data Deletion
To delete posts, comments, photos or error reports you submitted, email us using the button below:

Please include the nickname you used and where it was posted (board and title). We will delete it within 7 business days.
The App has no user accounts, so there is no separate account deletion process.

Security
All communication between the App and our server is encrypted over HTTPS.
We take steps to protect collected data against unauthorized access.

This app is not intended for children under the age of 13.
