GonggamStudio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the memo app "Chakbut" ("App", for Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac).
This privacy policy describes what information the App collects and how it is used and shared.
You can use the App without signing in. In that case your memos are stored only on your device.
If you sign in with a Google or Apple account in Settings, your memos are saved on our server so you can view and edit the same memos on all your devices.

Information We Collect
We may collect the following data:

If you sign in: the email address and account identifier of your Google or Apple account – for sign-in and account verification (we never receive your password)

If you sign in: your memo contents (name, text, checklists, lists, tables), memo color, order and pin state, creation and modification times, and trash state – sent to our server to keep your memos in sync across devices

When ads are shown on Android, iPhone or iPad: device identifiers such as the advertising ID, approximate location (based on IP), app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics – collected by Google AdMob

If you purchase ad removal on Android, iPhone or iPad: purchase information (purchased product, order ID, purchase time) – checked through Google Play or App Store billing

Information Stored Only on Your Device
If you do not sign in, all memos are stored only on your device and are never sent to our server.
Settings such as font size, window position and size, always on top and window opacity are stored only on your device, whether or not you sign in.
On Windows and Mac, "Launch at startup" is registered only in that computer's settings and is not sent to us.

Why We Collect This Data
We use this data only to:

Keep your memos in sync across the devices you sign in on, and restore them when you change devices or reinstall the App

Serve ads and measure ad performance via Google AdMob (Android, iPhone, iPad)

Verify ad-removal purchases, restore purchases after reinstalling or changing devices, and process refunds

Data Sharing and Processors
We do not share your data with any third parties except:

Supabase (server hosting) – if you sign in, stores and processes your account identifier, email address and memos

Google · Apple (sign-in) – handle sign-in with the account you choose; we never receive your password

Google AdMob (ads and ad personalization) – device identifiers such as the advertising ID, approximate location, app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics

Google Play · Apple App Store (ad-removal purchase) – payments are processed directly by each store; we do not receive your card or other payment details

Retention
Your memos and account information on our server are kept until you delete them.
Deleted memos move to the trash. When you permanently delete a memo from the trash, its contents are removed from all devices.
So that you can restore memos edited or deleted by mistake, the contents of a memo right before it is edited or deleted are kept on our server for 30 days (up to the latest 30 versions per memo). Older copies are deleted automatically.
When you delete your account, your memos and account information on our server are removed immediately and cannot be restored.

User Rights
You have the right to:

Edit or delete your memos in the App, and permanently delete them from the trash

Stop syncing with "Settings → Sign out" in the App (your memos remain on our server)

Delete your memos and account information on our server with "Settings → Delete account" in the App

Reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads)

Change whether the App may track you in your iOS settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking)

Data Deletion
Tapping "Settings → Delete account" in the App immediately deletes all memos and account information (including your email) on our server. Deleted memos cannot be restored. Memos stored on the device you are using remain until you delete them in the App or delete the App.
If you use the same Google or Apple account in other GonggamStudio apps, the records and sign-in of those apps are not deleted.
If you have already deleted the App, email us with the email address you signed in with using the button below. We will delete your data promptly after checking.
Ad removal can be restored by reinstalling the App with the same store account.

Security
All communication between the App and our server, ads and purchase verification is encrypted over HTTPS.
Memos on our server can be read and written only by the signed-in owner.

We recommend checking this page regularly.

Children's Privacy
This app is not primarily directed at children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
