GonggamStudio ("we", "our", or "us") operates "Mega Ball" ("App"), a ball merge puzzle game.
This privacy policy describes what information the App collects and how it is used and shared.
The App has no sign-up process. For nicknames and rankings, an anonymous account is created automatically the first time you open the App, without your name, email or phone number.
If you wish, you can link a Google account (Android) or an Apple account (iPhone·iPad) to keep your records when you change devices.

Information We Collect
We may collect the following data:

Anonymous account identifier – a random value created by our server the first time you open the App (not your name, email, phone number or device serial)

Your nickname, run records (score and the stage of the biggest ball you made), the time each record was sent, and your best score and tier for each league period – sent to our server to check nickname duplicates and for the monthly and all-time rankings and the league

Country – set from your device's region setting and sent to our server to show a flag in rankings and the league (you can change it in Settings; location data is not used)

If you link a Google or Apple account: the email address and account identifier of that account – for sign-in and account verification (we never receive your password)

If you link an account: your game records (run records on this device, Mega Ball and Diamond currency, owned and applied boards and ball skins, league records) – to back them up and restore them on another device

App instance identifier, app interactions (usage statistics such as run scores and tutorial completion), crash logs and diagnostics – collected by Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics)

Device identifiers such as the advertising ID, approximate location (based on IP), app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics – collected by Google AdMob when ads are shown in the App

Information Stored Only on Your Device
If you have not linked an account, Mega Ball and Diamond currency, owned and applied boards and ball skins, and league records are stored only on your device and are never sent to our server. If you link an account, these records are also saved on our server.
Hearts and sound/vibration settings are stored only on your device, whether or not you link an account.
If Google backup is turned on for your Android device, these records may be included in your device backup.

Why We Collect This Data
We use this data only to:

Make sure no two players use the same nickname

Provide the monthly and all-time rankings and the league (group rankings within the same tier, promotion and relegation), and block abnormal score records

If you link an account, back up your game records and restore them when you change devices or reinstall the App

Find the causes of app errors and improve game difficulty and balance (Google Firebase)

Serve ads, measure ad performance and grant rewards for rewarded ads via Google AdMob

Data Sharing and Processors
We do not share your data with any third parties except:

Other players – your nickname, country (flag), score and biggest ball are shown on the ranking and league screens

Supabase (server hosting) – stores and processes your account identifier, nickname, country, run records, league records and, if you link an account, your email address and game records

Google · Apple (account linking) – handle sign-in with the account you choose; we never receive your password

Google Firebase (error reporting and usage statistics, as a processor) – app instance identifier, app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics

Google AdMob (ads and ad personalization) – device identifiers such as the advertising ID, approximate location, app interactions, crash logs and diagnostics

Retention
Your account, nickname, best record and backed-up game records on our server are kept until you delete them.
The score sent for each run is deleted automatically after 13 months, and league groups and results after 5 weeks.
Once deleted, data is removed immediately and cannot be restored.

Photo Saving Permission
The App asks for permission to save to your photo library (gallery) only when you use the feature that saves the game-over screen as a photo.
Saved photos stay on your device and are not sent to us. The App does not view or transmit any other photos in your library.

User Rights
You have the right to:

Change your nickname and country in the App's settings

Delete your server account and records, and the records on your device, with "Settings → Delete Account & Records" in the App

Reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads)

Change whether the App may track you in your iOS settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking)

Data Deletion
Tapping "Settings → Delete Account & Records" in the App immediately deletes your account, nickname, ranking records and backed-up game records on our server (including the email of a linked account), together with the records on your device. Deleted records cannot be restored.
If you use the same Google or Apple account in other GonggamStudio apps, the records and sign-in of those apps are not deleted.
If you have already deleted the App, email us with the nickname you used using the button below. We will delete it promptly after checking.

Security
All communication between the App, our server and ads is encrypted over HTTPS.

If this policy changes, we will post the update on this page and update the date above.
We recommend checking this page regularly.

Children's Privacy
This app is not primarily directed at children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
